What is statelessness?

Today, there are millions of stateless people in the world. Stateless is a person who is not considered a national by any State.
Statelessness means a delay in access to basic human rights and freedoms, the impossibility of proper realization of one’s rights. Stateless persons are forced to live at risk of discrimination and violation of other fundamental rights.
