21 December, 2020

On 21 December 2020 Rights Georgia conducted a protection information session for asylum seekers, refugees, and humanitarian status holders.

The aim of the meeting was to spread the word about current regulations and restrictions amid COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the participants got familiar with the government-funded programmes that are available for asylum seekers, refugees, and humanitarian status holders.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of UNHCR and World Vision Georgia as well.

Protection information session was organized within the UNHCR-supported project “Protecting and Empowering Refugees, Asylum Seekers, and Humanitarian Status Holders in Georgia”, which has been implemented by Rights Georgia since 2019.
